Founders-Pete & Angie Spackman

The Dream. God placed a dream in the hearts of Pete and Angie Spackman. They had been invited to the USA from Great Britain many years earlier to minister in the prisons of Alabama. Overwhelmed by the need to help inmates’ children, a dream began to take shape. They knew that without intervention, many of these children would become inmates themselves. They knew that to raise them in the Gospel was the only answer.

The Miracle. Stepping out in faith and without any government funding, they began this ministry right in their own home. With the help of their four daughters, they reached out to children living in the most appalling conditions. Soon their home was bursting at the seams. Knowing that there was nowhere else for these children to go, they pressed on. Since that time, with much patience, hard work, and with the help of God’s people, the Spackmans began to build a beautiful facility on 18 acres of donated land.

The Reality. The workers, builders, and caregivers have all been volunteers (a.k.a. missionaries) who have given sacrificially to make this dream a reality. The Nursery boasts twelve beautifully decorated children’s bedrooms. Adullam House meets all the educationl needs of its children at Adullam House Christian Academy. AHCA is our off-site private Christian school, also open to enrollment from the public. Click link to learn more about AHCA.

God has provided every step of the way. This Dream, through many Miracles, has become a Reality, and we operate debt-free. All praise be to God, our Provider!
